Shaping a sustainable future together
Climate-
Alliance
The Climate Alliance is a programme for climate-friendly and future-proof economic activity. It focusses on mayors, economic developers, district administrators, regional developers, as well as environmental offices and climate protection agencies. The alliance brings together communities, businesses, and citizens to develop measures that reduce the ecological footprint and secure competitive advantages. By pooling regional resources, long-term sustainable structures are created.
The collaboration between businesses and communities is crucial, as companies are both major energy consumers and drivers of innovation. With the right framework conditions, they can reduce emissions and gain economic advantages through sustainable technologies and processes. Communities create the structural framework to embed these measures in the long term. Both sides benefit – ecologically and economically.
The Climate Alliance bundles know-how and resources to develop solutions for climate protection and regional economic strength. Companies reduce costs, improve efficiency, and position themselves as pioneers in climate protection – a decisive advantage in a sustainability-oriented market.
Together, we are shaping not just projects, but the future - sustainably, fairly and inclusively. That is our drive, our responsibility and our promise.

The programme includes five workshops in which core topics such as mobility and resource efficiency are analysed. Implementable solutions are developed, which can be immediately applied. For the success of the Climate Alliance, at least ten companies – ideally fifteen – should participate to create synergies between business and administration.
Strong networks are formed where innovations and expertise are shared. Each company brings valuable expertise that strengthens the region. Together, we develop solutions for mobility, resource conservation, and energy savings – for a secure and sustainable future.
